Tutorial: Inputting and Retrieving Data - Page 3 of 4 Searching the Data If there are only a few records, finding data is easy. Just select the records one by one, and we'll find what we need. However, if there are a lot of records, we can let the program look for data for us. For example, if we are looking for a contact whose email address contains the string "somecompany", we type this into the search box and press "Enter". The program will then list all the data records that contain this text string in the list view.
To clear the search result and re-display all the records in the category, click the button "Show All".
